Dark Circle Removal

We employ Glycolic peels for dark circle and under eye treatment. They clear the dead skin below the eyes, reduce puffiness & bring fresher skin on to the surface. They also reduce pigmentation around the eyes. This treatment makes the under-eye area firmer and more hydrated. After the treatment, our dermatologists will brief you about the lifestyle habits that you need to adopt for sustained results. Opt for this treatment to lose the tired look of your eyes and to look completely refreshed.

About the process

Dark under-eye circles are an easily recognizable condition that can result from stress, fatigue, heredity, aging, and other factors. Dark circles appear under the eyes more often on older individuals as the skin around the eyes loses elasticity. Because the skin around the eyes is subjected to more stress than most other areas of the skin, this is one of the earliest problem areas for many patients. There are a variety of treatments available that can remedy the condition, and most are relatively non-invasive.

A common reason for dark under-eye circles is the tear trough deformity. The tear trough deformity is a depression under the eyes which is often mistakenly perceived as just skin discoloration. In reality, the dark colour of the circles is often greatly exaggerated by a pronounced tear trough under the eye. The tear trough will deflect light, thereby creating a shadow and an apparent increase of under eye circles and discoloration.

What is Dark Circle Removal Procedure

There are a variety of treatments available for dark under-eye circles.
  • Many topical creams are available that have been specifically designed to address undereye circles. Common ingredients include chamomile and vitamin E.
  • Laser resurfacing and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL™) treatments are good options because they can reduce or eliminate the appearance of prominent veins and capillaries.
  • Chemical peels, too, can be effective in rejuvenating skin around the eyes to eliminate dark circles by exfoliating damaged upper layers of skin to reveal new, healthier skin.
  • Injectable dermal filler procedures such as collagen injection and fat transfer can be used to augment recessed areas to eliminate the shadowing that can give the appearance of dark undereye circles.

Understand There needs to be an organized, structured and methodical approach with a holistic ‘Understanding’ to determine how to get the best outcome for each patient.
Any unique facial rejuvenation treatment and skincare plan has to consider:
  • Skin elasticity and skin strength: For many of us the ageing process results in loose and thinning skin.
  • Volume: Some areas of the face require more padding to maintain shape and support of the face.
  • Surface texture and skin ‘clarity’: Creating a more uniform complexion is multifactorial in itself.
  • Dynamics of facial expression: Excessive movement of frown lines is not the only aspect of anti-wrinkle treatments. There is a myriad of minor therapies that can reduce unwanted affects such as the ‘the gummy smile” and down-turning of the corners of the mouth.
  • All these things can be treated using modern techniques and advanced technologies. While the approach to assess each patient is always the same, the findings will always be different and hence the treatment plan. All this are an outcome of the effort to develop an initial understanding.
